Fog creeps in over the white clover, rocks, grasses and trees of Green Point as the afternoon light breaks through. A common occurrence along the shoreline in Lubec, ME – especially at the easternmost point at West Quoddy Head State Park.  Green Point is a rocky outcropping, popular to hikers, where one can see Grand Manan Island across the Bay of Fundy. It is located in the West Quoddy Head State Park in Lubec, ME. Knife work was used in the foreground of this painting.

Treated with a removable matte varnish to protect the painting from smoke, UV light and other external pollutants. Professionally finished on the back with provenance card.
