The Sunsweep Trail, in the Roosevelt Campobello International Park on Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada, can be found at Liberty Point. The trail winds through the trees along the coast to the Sunsweep sculpture which rests on Ragged Point. This painting captures a place in the trail, returning from Sunsweep to Liberty Point, where you will see a rock pointing up where a tree has loosened from the ground and is leaning. The sunlight above breaks through the fog to rest upon a small sapling growing at the base of the tree.
16″ x 20″ stretched canvas. Oil. 2014. This painting is not available, however, consider a similar commissioned work for your own private collection.
